Valence and Drôme
In
the heart of Rhône-Alpes area, la Drôme is located betweeen
the sea and the mountain, two hours far from skiing places, Vercors, Alpes
and mediterranean Sea.
Hill lanscape on the north, Vercors's plateau is to the east. Down to the south, that's valentinois area, around Valence, then Loriol and Ilvron plains, with, to the east, two cities: Crest and Diois.
Further to the south, it's Drôme provençale,
the scenery is more arid, lavanders' fields are here, the sun is hot,
the wind is strong, that's the door to Provence.
